Hi folks,

Just cross-posting something from the BE forum as I know there are some people on here who don't frequent it.

After a catalogue of calamities with my current property managers, I have decided "out with the old and in with the new" is the best way to start the new year. I'm hoping that someone on here will have had a positive experience of property managers back in the UK (specifically ones with an office in or near to Crawley) and will recommend me someone more reliable than our current bunch of jokers.

Many thanks in advance and a Happy New Year to you!

Hi,

I will be using Courtney Green (01403 252200) in Horsham to rent my flat. I don't have any personal experience of their letting abilities but have heard positive comments. They are the managing agents of my flat and are extremely proficient at that.

Hope that is of help
Andrew

Andrew,

Thanks for the recommendation, I shall drop them a line to see if they will manage a property as far away as Crawley (the closest they have on their website is Rusper).

All the best;

Leaders would have been our recommendation - pretty sure they cover Crawley by now at least.

We were both tenants and landlords with them and found them professional but also personal to deal with if that makes sense?

Aftewr we sold out house, we rented through Knights Property Management based in Horsham and always found them really good - also know that our landlord/lady were extremely happy with the service they provided, a small family-run company I believe. Although they are based in Horsham I think they may cover Crawley. Their tel number is 01403 217427 email contact@knights-property-management.co.uk.

Ahh Rusper, fond memories of The Plough!

Ah - we miss Sussex pubs as well!

We used to go to the Plough at Rusper for Sunday lunches a few years ago.

Mmmmm Sunday roast at the Plough - lovely garden there too if I am recalling the right place!

What a small world it is indeed!

Forgot to add - did you ever go to the Lamb Inn at Lambs Green? Loved it there.

Yep - we went last year on our trip back! Think we have probably been in most pubs around the Dorking/Horsham area etc!

It's the first thing we have to do when we go back - find proper pub with real beer for OH!
