Hi all, I work for a newly formed Power Systems company and we are set to expand quite rapidly in the not too distant future. The company is on the look out for mechanical engineers who are competant with Gas and Diesel Power generators so I thought I would put a post out to see if I could help out any of my fellow Brits. As you can probably tell I'm not a technical person but I know we deal with sell land gas generators (amongst others) which we import from Germany which require installing and servicing on a regular basis. We will need more maintenance and service engineers to cope with this anticipated increase in business. Although we are located in the S/E suburbs of Melbourne we service all areas of Australia and Oceana so a certain amount of travel will be required. We also have service centres in Sydney & Perth. I know the company would consider sponsorship to the right candidates. If anyone has any questions about the positions then let me know and I will pass these on to someone more suitably qualified to answer. If you are genuinely interested then I suggest you send a CV and I will pass this on as well. Best of luck Dave |

I am posting this here as you PM inbox is full. I used to work for FG Wilsons in Northern Ireland. It is a company owned by Caterpillar and it makes Diesel and LPG powered Gensets. I was employed on the Production line and in the R&D section where we developed the successfull range of Olympian Gas powered Generators. I would be interested in returning to this field of engineering so could you possibly let me know what you are looking for, and what any jobs will entail. all the best, Dave Aston |
