I will actually miss them, when I used to travel up to Leeds to see my grandparents I knew we were nearly there when I saw those towers and now that I live in Leeds when we saw them we knew we were nearly home. Never mind - hopefully be in Melbourne in November.

My mum told me about the towers being demolished when she phoned me last weekend. She said she heard the blast from their house a couple of miles away. Wonder what they plan to do with the land now??

Apparently there were loads of people up on Meadowhall Road watching it all happen. According to OH they are going to build a small Biomass Power Station on the land. Jen :waving:
