Yes, yesterday was lovely. We went for lunch down at Mt Martha shops and a stroll along the beach afterwards. There were even kids in the water! Unfortunately today isn't quite the same.

The sky is much bluer here and also bigger! There was an amazing cloud formation over the bay yesterday - one of those fish scale ones!

Glad you had a nice day and many more to come!

Thats the plan Kim.

It felt a bit weird because i associate nice warm days on the beach with going on holiday but this is where i live now.....a bit surreal.

Hopefully that's why you came!

I lived in Brighton in the UK so we had nice warm days on the beach! Actually the weather in Brighton has really gone downhill since we left - all the summers we had there were lovely

The pebbles weren't quite as comfy as the sand, Mt Martha beach is prettier and the bathing boxes are multi-coloured unlike the regulation Hove green, green or even green ones! So  to our new beach!

Hi Lee,

We were down Frankston beach and in the park to, had a fabulous day.

Perhaps us Britvics should wear special bracelets or something so we can recognise other members  Although i should have recognised other britvics on the beach  because they were on the beach!!!!

My thoughts exactly!

I keep hearing Brit voices everywhere down here but in the past when I've asked if you're a Britvicer I just get funny looks and people think I'm strange....
 so now I don't like to ask!

I'm so glad someone else thinks so! We've said that since the start, but you say it to people back in the UK and they think you're just 'down under drunk' or something, but it's true!

Was a lovely day, we christened our new BBQ .. woo hoo! bring on the summer

:yeap: I agree about the sky, it does seem to be bigger. Doubly so in central Australia where it's nearly flat as far as you can see and the sky feels enormous. And the blue is almost like looking through a polarizer sometimes, until you take a picture without a polarizer and find out your brain is tricking you. But my favourite time is early morning and late afternoon - that golden light we get so much of is really spectacular and not something you see very often in Britain.

The light in Aus is fantastic, yep you're right Simon early morning and late afternoon it's glorious. I never have to tweak the blues much on Aussie pics!

We've got a large canvas of Esperance jetty (WA) just before sunset and the light on it is wonderful. I had one done for my Mum and Dad for their 70th birthday pressie and they are convinced it changes colour during the day! Pic attached.

Must be something to do with where we are placed why the sky looks bigger and higher!
