Hi Jim!

Yep full time as I can make it, I have got someone hopefully giving me 2-3 days a week which will be a great boost to start with. Ill be back to working all hours soon but Ill be happy doing it!

This firm I was with thought the following was acceptabe!

1) To allow plumbing pipes onto the cable tray (he told plumbers this was ok!!!!)
2) To have the entire jobs cables passing over pipes as they enter the switchboard with no spacing at all.
3) To have a 25mm cable feeding a board that should have 70mm cables, then that board was feeding 2 sub boards with 35 mm cable
4) To crimp joint cables behind walls wherever possible!

I told him he could squeeze his 10 gallon hat & stick it somewhere he appeared to speaking from. Luckily the main boss was not happy with him either, but beng the last in the food chain I wasnt taking the can for him.

Unbelievable ! It seems the "She'll be right mate" attitude is alive & well in some people. There are some really good sparks out there though, thankfully!

When do you arrive Jim, must be soon now?

Hello mate

I arrive early Friday morning.

I've worked with a few blokes like your old boss on council contracts. You'll have to let me know the name of the company just in case i apply for a job there.

If you are going to the mornington meet, I could do with picking ya brains a bit.

Take it easy

Jim

Here's another recommendation for Simon. Recently completed work on our home and we're really pleased  Very professional, very tidy and as already commented on, just a really nice guy - sorry if that sounds patronizing Simon, but I mean it

Simon, hope the move to self-employed goes smoothly for you all, we'll certainly be recommending you anyone looking for a great electrician.

Thanks again for a fantastic job.
