Newbie Posts: 1 Group: Members Member #2,437 Joined: 12 September 2008 My Location Motherwell, Scotland	Hi I'm new to this site and was looking for some advice on Point Cook. OH and I (& 2kids) are hoping to move over in Feb, and I will be a stay at home mum for a few months. So I am just wondering about creche's, mother & toddler groups or anywhere I can go to with the kids so that I can meet other mums or girls like myself who have migrated over. OH is adamant that he is not coming back to Scotland so I have to try and meet new people! Many thanks Val :waving:

We only took a drive over to the west and got out and viewed some developments...but it just didn't do it for me. It is a bit cheaper than the East side, but it just felt a bit souless and a bit flat.....it really is a personal thing. All I would say is keep your options open when you arrive and drive around until you find an area that you like and can afford....there are so many areas to look at.

It is a very new housing estate with huge houses and a town centre which opened 3 weeks ago. Secondary school there is new and a mate has just moved her (bright) daughter away as the school was not challenging at all. However some people (my mate for one) love PC....
