FBI; Issues with FBI Clearance

 Hi,
Has anyone had any experiences with getting FBI clearance? I lived in the US for 2 years so need to get clearance for a PR application. I heard that the process involved having fingerprints taken. I checked on the internet and Victoria police can do them in the CBD? I have a bad feeling about this holding things up

 HI,

We also lived in the US for 5 years so had to get the police checks from the FBI. If memory serves me correctly they took about 3 months to come back. We actually now in NSW but we had the fingerprints taken at just our local Police station
