Hello.

I am new on this site and would like some advice regarding suburbs/villages aroud the Geelong area or Bellarine.

Are there any good schools that people can recommend in the area and what is the local community spirit like in the surronding villages/suburbs. We have two young boys so local amenities are important too.

We were headed to Tas, but have decided to head to Victoria instead and feel we have made the right choice.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Cityboy.

We would recommend Highton as a good family suburb of Geelong. Bellaire Primary and Montpellier Primary are both good schools in this area. Good luck

Highton and Belmont are good. We came over 6 weeks ago and now rent in Belmont and have found it spot on. Oldest goes to Highton Primary School and we are hoping o look for a house in the Highton area sometime this year.
PM me if you want any help or advice about anything, we've found out lots through a lot of helpful people in 6 weeks.
