Guilty as charged. :Grin: I learned from my work tipping a few years ago that if I wanted to be in with a chance I had to tip with my head & not my heart. I still can't tip against them when it comes to the Pies or blues though. |

Not only did Saints not smack you but I think Bombers gave us the toughest game of the season so far, and if we hadn't had it all our way in the 1st who knows... 'cos your lot outscored us in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th. :bow: Wish that had been on free to air TV because it was a nail biter even on the radio. 'Cos of that I've also tipped Bombers to beat the Tigers, but there's another reason. I saw an online discussion elsewhere on the interweb where someone pointed out a pattern with the St Kilda wins so far this season. Nearly every team that's lost to Saints has won their next round game with the only exception being the Pies, but as Steve said the Pies would struggle against the Vixens anyway (BTW :pmsl: Steve). Plus there's been all the distractions with the Tigers' captain and half the players falling out with the coach and trying to get him fired, so yeah, I reckon the Bombers will bury them tomorrow night if they play like they did last weekend. |

Ok after the mid season break the top five tipsters are as follows. 1. Penrice. 71 Points 2. Joelabs 70. 3 . Bordy 69. 4. Redbag 69. 5. Manwinoname 69. Was an awesome night. Especially as we had a very mouthy Blues supporter sitting behind us. He went very quiet in the third quarter though & disappeared halway through the last quarter :Grin: Why do Connex pick a night that there is 80,000 plus at the "G" to do maintenance on the lines though. Had to get a bus from Ringwood station to FTG, got home around midnight. |

Well 5 weeks to go & its hotting up. Steve aka Manwinoname has come with a late run & leads Rich aka Penrice on margin only. I just worked out that the Bombers are my worst team for tipping as I've got their result right only half the time, which is no better than flipping a coin. Good to see you really got into it Steve. If you have enjoyed the season so far, you will love finals footy. It just seems to go up a notch. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see the Pies in another Grand final. |
