Does anyone know if I can set this forum to email me when there is a reply to a topic in which I have posted? Can't seem to find the setting anywhere. Thanks Paul |

Hi Paul I'm not sure if Britvics has ever done that.....we used to get an email when someone had PM'd us but that's disappeared when they moved boards. Maybe BigApe or Bordy can help! KK |

If you click preferences there's a list of topics you've subscribed to, but the only problem there is the most recent on our list of subscribed topics was started in May last year. I suspect that came over when the board changed but never got updated. Maybe it's like the search function - it'll work one day but poor Bordy and bigAPE will have bitten their keyboards in half through frustration before then  Other than that it seems all we can do is keep an eye on the topic icons. |

Emailed updates... wow, that be super-hooman stuff. I doubt that the guys who run this forum can work that out. *sigh* Suffice to say that there are lot of things we want the forum to do which they promised and failed to deliver on, not least Searching Al |

Maybe it's just not an option on this forum software. I use Simple Machines forum software for my forum but porting from one to the other is never simple http://www.simplemachines.org Suppose we just need to live with it :) Paul |
