Congratulations on moving into your new home soon!
Weve loved to follow progress of house build on you tube what a great idea.!!!Have you got the finished house on there, as the build looks great!!!!!!
We start building our house in July, so any tips /advice would be appreciated. How long did it take to build in total? We sign contracts on 4th July, colour selection on 3rd july , do you think we are being hopeul trying to be in for Xmas???
We have 5 visitors coming to visit for NewYear from Uk , so hope we can accomodate all of them as our new house should be way bigger than our rental , so here's hoping !
Keep us all informed Good luck on the move !!

Well Gary, we might have a problem :(

Our agent requested of Engineers Australia that I be classified as Engineering Technologist (which is on the SOL for Victoria) but they have assessed me as Electronics Engineer (which isnt!)

I've been told that the new SOL lists for the states are due out on 1st July and am hoping that Electronics Eng will be back on the list. Otherwise we'll need to appeal to Engineers Aus. to reclassify me.

Failing that, I only have 2 courses of action:
1 - Get employer sponsorship
2 - Try another state! but we really have our minds set on Vic now and that's where Mels daughter will be for the next couple of years.

So if anyone wants to sponsor me! ;) (CV on Linkedin below)

Eeek
