Well the in laws are coming for a month at xmas! how to ruin my boxing day b'day. :mah: but along with the bad, we have been granted some free time. the 1st since leaving uk over a year ago. and as we live in the macedon ranges we thought we'd head over to Mornington Peninsula. we are looking for somewhere special :kisses: for 3 nights from 31st dec! looking now before things get booked up. any idea's of where to go and stay? Woodman Estate http://www.woodmanestate.com/ Lindenderry http://www.lindenderry.com.au/ Both of these are not near the beach, Woodman is close to both Westernport and Port Phillip up about the level of Mornington. Lindenderry is in Red Hill. Have a look at this site as well and then you can decide whereabouts you would like to be. I like the whole of the Peninsula so hard to pick a favourite place. Balnarring Beach has always been a favourite of ours all the time we have lived here even before we moved down here. We like the Westernport side because its more rural and less people live over this side. Really just depends what you want, quiet or noisy in the holidays the Port Phillip side is very busy. |
