Just moved to Melbourne and having a tough time! Renting a property and 10 min inspections of tired houses has not helped! Searching for schools and houses has taken up every minute of our time and we have not met anyone! Trying to rent in Berwick! Anyone got any ideas about places to go to meet new folks. have 2 kids 5 and 12. Any good activity places for them to meet other children/ Chris |

Hi Chris :waving: Just wanted to say hello and to say sorry to hear you're having a rough time of it. I'm just up the road from you in Pakenham. There are a few of us who get together when we can for a coffee and a natter and we usually meet up with the kids at a park or something over the holidays, you would be more than welcome to join us if you fancy it. Hi Chris, We have just gone through the same as you, we are up to 7wks, the 1st month was the same, just hectic and we ended up being so knacked!! I promise things do start to settle down and then you can start enjoying life and exploring your local area soon. Making friends isnt easy but keep in there. We have started meeting people through work and also a local church, everyone has been really friendly and welcoming. Have you thought of coming to the Britvic's meet up in Mornington about an 45 mins drive from Berwick. Its on 24th Oct at 1200 i think, check anyway. We are going so might see you there.
