See www.naturedays.com.au. It's all about getting out and about with the children and finding out about nature. Narelle the lady who runs the sessions is lovely and has spent alot of her own time and money for the children. Narelle can be contacted on 0431 79 13 79 or 9783 5746. It's on Weds at various places and usually starts at 10am. Cost $5 per family (to cover materials) I should mention the next activity on October 28th. Indigenous Cultural Awareness @ Sweetwater Creek Mel 102 A7. Meet 10am at the Fleetwood St. playground. Opening includes at 'Welcome' smoke ceremony & didgeridoo played by Mornington Pen artist and local Indigenous rep Adam Edwards Magennis, followed by a session on Aboriginal life, country and connections. It's fantastic for getting out and about with your little one(s) and enjoying the outdoors. The next activity 'Dip netting for creek critters' is on Tues 16th Feb and Weds 17th Feb. Venue:The Briars Mel. Ref. 145 D11 Nepean Highway. Mt.Martha. If you are interested call Narelle Debenham on 9783 5746 to confirm session times/costs etc.
