another pool question for you to answer......

Is it best to put the pool in the sun and shade??

The Irish in me says in the sun however the Aussies around me say in the shade!!!

What have you lot found to be best??

I would say a bit of both.

We are surrounded by gum trees and when the sun is behind them it can get a bit fresh around the pool even when its high 20's. When the direct sun is on the pool its beautiful in there.

You can always use shade sails if its too hot in the direct sun.

defo in the sun - who wants to be cold and in the shade while swimming - this was a huge consideration for us when we put in a pool, took us ages to decide, but getting the location is absolutely crucial, you cant move it after!

Sun, but have some posts put in for shade sails for the height of summer if needs be.

I don't know any Aussies who have there pool in the shade... :mate:

Ours is in the sun.....we use a huge umbrella for shade if needs be in the middle of January.
