Can anyone suggest anywhere in Mount Eliza/Mornington where you can get a photo that meets UK passport requirements. Cheers |

Hi. There us a photographer in Mornington who does them to Brit passport standards - we got ours done there. His company is called Skypics - I'm doing this on my phone so I'll PM you his number in the morning. |

We went to our local post office, they have forms to make sure that the photos comply with the tighter Aussie photo requirements |

Ah - looks like the whole system has changed since we last renewed a passport! Seems like you can do everything via Auspost now and the passports are now renewed in New Zealand and not Canberra! Don't forget you can also register to vote in the General Election via the British Consula website........just in case you want a say in how Blighty is run over the next few years - they'll probably get more ex-pats voting than mainlanders! Save the pound.......... |

As usual, Northern Ireland is classed as a 2nd class part of the UK, It wont allow you to register at a NI address. |

Just renewed my British passport and actually took and printed my own photo. Not to difficult as long you follow the guidelines on the website. Just got to get my visa moved over now. Next thing on the list is to sort out Citizenship for my wife and I. My son Alex has already got his, so were lagging behind a bit!! |

Isn't the size they want slightly different from Aussie passport photos? Only a couple of mm or something and it sounds pretty silly that they'd even care. Possibly they don't because I can't imagine they have people sitting there measuring every photo on all the applications that come in. |

Hardly any difference in the requirements for Aus/UK passport photos: - Aus Requirements (pdf file) - UK Requirements (pdf file) Very possible to get photos done that meet requirements for both. |
