Yeah Linda Carrum is quite nice, I much prefer further down though in Mt Eliza or Mornington. If I was moving to Melbourne again I'd probably go to Mornington. Frankston has some rough areas in it but its getting better, has a lovely beach area. |

Forever Ignored.

hmmm, the new bits of carrum are ok, but the rest of it looks a bit skanky to me! Mt Martha and Eliza are gorgeous, but have a nice price tag to go with it. As Bordy says, beware of Frankston, though Franston south is better. |

Mt Eliza to Carrum is only about 20mins Linda. Why do I like it there? Wellllll as I said before Mornington is my fav but the area around Mornington, Mt Eliza & Mt Martha is just beautiful. Some great houses, some at a Million plus. Some good beachside cafes / restaurants / bars. Some fantastic parks & walks. The weather seems to be a bit better at the coast than it is inland here. Its just a very relaxing area I find. |

Wow,thanks Bordy for the fab picture,I see what you mean!We will be looking at the area when we arrive in 8 weeks.I supose it will depend on whether my hubbie gets a job in the city or not as I would imagine its quite a commute, but I guess it might be worth it to live in a place like that.Cheers again.Linda |
