We have just returned from Albury-Wodonga (border of Victoria) to validate our visas, my husband who is a qualified carpenter was hoping to secure a job but it was a case of "when you are here, let us know". So now we have to make that bold decision of going with two kids 13 and 9yrs, without security of work. Has anyone got any advice for us, is this something which most families have done and survived! |

We have been told the same. You have to be here before prospective employers will look at you. We arrive in Melbourne in a few weeks and are just hoping for the best. |
