Hi. Could anyone tell me if there are some nice beaches relatively near to Melbourne please? We would like to live fairly close to one ($$$ permitting of course!!) but if that's not an option, then which beach would be nice to go to on a warm sunny day? I'm thinking sand, not too much surf, clean and not overcrowded...? :boat: Your thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Kate B) |

I think you will find they all get crowded on nice days! A popular one in the West is Williamstown beach which has tiny waves, lots of sand and is usually pretty clean. I wouldn't go there after heavy rain though because then it is another story
:o I don't really go to beaches so can't help you with beaches to the east but I think you will find house prices in the east in beachside suburbs are pretty steep. |
