Hi I am due to move to Melbourne on an E457 visa. I have found out that I have to pay fees for pre secondary school education. Would anyone please be able to tell me what an average figure is to give me an idea? I believe that if I was moving over on a permanent visa, then it would be free. Thanks |

Hi, Thought it was only SIR visas where you had to pay?And I think they changed that anyway. In any case I dont think you would at a govt school- they never ask what sort of visa you have- would only be if someone came round checking up on you- but I am not 100%. I think 'Nicky' initially came on a 457- may be worth asking on the general forum. Private primary- around $10k plus/minus |
