Victoria StartPage www.victoriastartpage.com Victoria StartPage is a Start Page for people living in, migrating to, or on holiday in Victoria, Australia. It offers carefully selected links covering all areas of Victorian life, with a special section related to migrating to Australia and settling in Victoria. Functionality includes:

Hi Credit where credit is due - this is an amazing website - well done! I'm not one for writing in for the sake of it but this is truly a great one stop shop for anything to do with Victoria. I showed it to a couple of guys at work and even they were impressed by the quality and quantity of information contained within the site - and they had lived in Victoria all their lives!!! May I suggest a Melways link or a link which calculates distances/directions and shows maps - eg say Tullamarine airport to St Kilda or Glen Waverley to Frankston etc. You probably already have something like that and I just haven't found it yet! Hi Mork, Thank you for your lovely comments. :D Do you think that you (and the guys at work) will use the website on a regular basis? Am I providing the right information in the right way? As I don't live in Australia it is a bit difficult for me to get feedback. The comments that I have had so far have been very positive, but it is difficult for me to get the word out - short of putting an advert in The Age! Any further thoughts would be really helpful. Driving directions are provided by the links Whereis? and Route Planner on the main page under Online Maps. If you know of a better website to use do let me know. Melways provides maps but unfortunately not driving directions. The RACV also provides driving directions but I have no idea which site Victorians usually use.???? Do let me know what you think. |
