We have been here for 7 months now (Patterson Lakes but moving to Mount Eliza at the end of October), and have yet to find an Indian Restuarant which is anywhere as good as back home (Scotland). Keep ketting exited about having a takeaway on a weekend then only to be disappointed every time with food that tastes bland and each dish tastes likes the next and also like the Indian sauces you get from Safeway's.

Please, Please, Please if anyone knows of a good Indian Restuarant within a 20 minute drive from Patty Lakes or Mount Eliza, then let us know as it would make my weekend's all the better.

Thanks in expectation!!

Don't panic, there are 2 near to Mt Eliza. One is called Tulsi on Station St in Somerville and the other is called Indian Mahal I think which is in a small group of shops just off the roundabout at Baxter. Both are quite good. There is also a Thai restaurant on Vale St in Mornington which is very good called the Thai Makong.

All I need now is a proper Donna Kebab instead of this souvlaki stuff which is pretty boring.
