Even though it's only for a Student visa we are over the moon as this is our only route for our family of getting into Oz (if only for a few years) but hopefully it will become permanent. So Melbourne here we come and look forward to meeting some of you next year and thanks for all the advice and support during this mad year. Cheers Russell, Sarah, Luke & Liam

Unfortunately we aren't lucky enough to qualify for a PR visa :( , but determined to make a go of it whatever the out come. Maybe this way we won't take things for granted as we will have to work really hard at our new life however long it may last.

Di, Pete, Bailey and Mack x Hi, Thanks, we're due to come over at the beginning of Jan, going to be staying in Essendon initially as relatives live there. I'm of to do a Patisserie course in the centre of Melbourne - very excited. Thanks for your offer of help you never know we might take you up on it. Can't wait to get to Oz and really looking forward to meeting up with other's who have taken the big step and moved to Melbourne. Will keep you posted on how we are getting on. Maybe this way we won't take things for granted as we will have to work really hard at our new life however long it may last. thats true, i know a couple who have just been granted pr after 3 years , it was lovely to see them so excited, they think they're on easy street, coz they are getting family benefit and stuff now :D \i think your right about people taking p.r for granted, i didn't realise just how lucky we were to have it until i had spoken to othere people
