Good evening, Well what a trip we have just arrived here in melbourne and got into the appartment. i feel so much like a fish out of water and feels so strange that i want to go back home already!! Is this normal?? i keep thinking omg what have i done, i had a breakdown at heathrow airport as we were going to our gate and couldnt stop crying, everyone was looking at me like i was a fool and had 3 heads. Is this normal?? |

Hi Gail Glad you arrived okay! It will be very strange to begin with, however, it affects everyone differently - some people get here and enjoy it straight away, others it takes a little time to take in what you have actually done! Plus don't forget with your latest news your homones will be all over the place as well! The only thing I can say is that to give yourself time, go out today and have a day off, see the sights etc - have a fab coffee and cake and just let yourself get over the last few frantic days. Moving to the otherside of the world is exhausting and therefore your emotions will be running higher than normal, so if you need a good blub then have one! Take care, send me a PM if you need a shoulder. Kim |
