:o The shippers are coming tomorrow!! ahhhh.... I'm really worried :o I'm sure they'll be really great (John Masons), but I can't help feeling "un-prepared" I have a headache, which has been with me all day, I've bitten my nails to the knuckles and I seem in-capable of being able to do anything proactive!! Please tell me I'm being normal?! Did you all worry about your packing and shipping day!! DH seems unbelievable laid back, or is that just because I'm completely the other end of the spectrum!!! :( I'm beginning to think I must be crazy for going!!! Will I be sane by end of Wednesday? |

What you are feeling is perfectly normal and you are not crazy at all! :D At the end of the day this is the start of the big move and its natural to feel nervous, unprepared, scared etc. You have got one of the big professional companies coming to do your move and they will have everything organised and sorted to make sure it all goes smoothly for you. When they come just point out what isn't going on the container (or lock it away in a cupboard) and leave them to get on with it. You'll feel a bit like a spare part tomorrow with nothing to do apart from making cups of tea as the last thing they pack will be the kettle!! :D Try not to stress and see this as the start of your exciting new life. What she said. We felt a bit headless chicken the day before the packers arrived, and then a bit spare part at a wedding while they were working. We'd got some stuff in suitcases already plus some stuff was being left behind, so our blokes just put PostIt notes on those and packed everything else. They know what they're doing, so aside from making sure only everything to go in the container gets packed and checking that it's all inventoried and, of course, the tea :) you just have to try your best to relax and look forward to seeing it in the southern sunshine. Oh god its making it all soooo real now, our packers (john masons) are coming on the 7th Jan! I know what you mean about feeling like a spare one!!

Hi there We r on r way, cant believe it. Linda just dropping you all a note to say r shippers (John Mason) r coming on Wed 2nd / thurs 3rd Jan, out the house on the 4th, just need to pack up clothes we r taking in suitcase, and thinking about all the things that goes through your mind, have we cancelled this, that and everythin else. Party Fri 11th, stoppin Manchester airport hotel Sat 12th off Sun 13th to Sunny Melbourne. Kids r so excited but we r not going until the 13th Jan but really excited about it all. Its been such a long time coming for us as the house wouldnt sell so had to wait a year b4 it finally went through :thumbsup: :thumbsup: Arrive in Williamstown 15th Jan to start r new life love to hear from you and any tales you may have Linda, Keith, Sean & Rachel :waving: :waving: |

Just want to send our best wishes to all of you lucky people who are about to embark on your new lives. Im so jealous and cant wait for it to be us.
